Our Company has continued to expand both its client base and the services it offers to customers by adding the capability to provide the full range of installation and service for all types of building mobility equipment.
The Company moved to its present site in Jan 2005 and has since consolidated its operations by a planned programme of expansion and the computerisation of its operations and records including the response to service requests.
The Company changed its status from a Partnership to a Limited Company on 1st January 2001.
Successful business relationships have been developed with manufacturers of traction and hydraulic lift kits fabricated within the EEC and shipped to the company for installation.
We have been installing and Maintaining the following passenger and goods lifts :- Monitor’s ( Italy ) lifts since 1982, Shorts ( BKG Germany ) since 1982, Elex ( Italy ) lifts since 1990. Vitoria ( Spain ) since 1990, and Stannah (UK) range of lifts since 1990 Kleemann (Greece) since 2000
Ascent Lift Services carefully liase with their Clients to ensure that the imported units meet the specified requirements usually within a range of 3 Persons to 3000Kg capacity passenger and goods lifts capable of operating over a range of up to 8 floors.

We aim to continue to expand both our customer base and the range of services we are able to provide so that we consolidate our position and be respected as the best in our field.
The Company implements an effective Quality Management System designed to meet the requirements of ISO9001 and to comply with current legislative requirements as follows:
- the Lifts Regulations 1997 for newly installed passenger Lifts. - the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 for the service and maintenance of lifts.
The above regulations are implemented under the Health and Safety at Work Act which is the principal legal requirement relating to the product and services supplied by our Company.
Our aims will be achieved through the efforts of each Company employee taking responsibility for the quality of their work by the maintenance and effective implementation of our Quality System.
The Company supports these objectives by educating and training all employees to ensure that they are aware of the policies and objectives set out by the Management and the need to involve themselves in the continuous improvements to the quality of services provided by the company.
This policy statement provides a framework for establishing quality objectives which are detailed throughout the QMS and are reviewed annually for continuing suitability.
Ascent Lift Services Ltd are memebers of LEIA (Lift & Escalator Industry Association) we are also ISO9001 compliant. We currently have accreditation from Safe Contractor, Bureau Veritas & Construction Line.
